What was the reason that you moved to Japan?

I've had an interest in Japan ever since middle school, when my dad remarried with a Japanese woman. I was suddenly surrounded by Japanese culture and found it to resonate deeply. After studying the language for years as a hobby, I decided my mid-20s was the right time to try living in this culture I had a fleeting but impactful personal connection with.

I moved to the Nakano ward (中野区).

It has a smart layout, has specific features I was looking for, and is located in a great neighborhood.
